I wrote this application when I got my K750i to experiment with java mobile development. As I was preparing for the GRE I thought something that would help me learn difficult English words frequently appearing in that test might be a good start. At first I wrote a simple dictionary letting the user search and browse about 1200 words. Later I included a cute game. The user has to match a definition to the word. The trick is time is limited, so answer fast and correctly (two wrong answers cancel the right one) to gain as much points as possible. Extra time left for being fast enough is translated into points as well.
